Waco - Dr. Pepper Museum to see the amazing collection they have of memorabilia.
Salado – This lovely town was founded in 1859 where the Chisholm Trail went down main street & was a major stop for stagecoaches. There are so many fun shops & wonderful places to eat that it is going to be tough to decide where to eat lunch.
Schulenberg – Potter Country Store – Pecans by the pound or in bulk, Pies, Spices, Gourmet Popcorn, peanut brittle, pralines and many other food & gift items to stock your pantry
Schulenberg – Texas Polka Museum – we will have some toe tapping fun & learn about polka
Schulenberg – Lucy Tequilas – a must if you visit Texas to eat some authentic Tex-Mex cuisine.
Schulenberg – Painted Churches of Texas date back to the late 1800’s when Czech & German immigrants came to Texas to start a new life & they are a sight to behold with all the magnificent treasures inside the churches. We will tour with the Chamber of Commerce and all proceeds from the tour cost goes directly back to all these wonderful churches.
Schulenberg – Oakridge Smoke House for some real Texas BBQ
Navasota – Martha’s Bloomers – Home & Garden store that is ranked #5 in Southern Living top 50 shopping destinations in the south, a must see if you go to Texas!

Madisonville Christmas Company – It is the size of a warehouse, but you will have the experience of a chic boutique where joy comes alive just seeing all the Christmas displays.
Madisonville – Lakeside Restaurant for dinner with some down-home cooking
Bucee’s lunch & shopping on the way home
